Who I am

Hi, I’m Jae! A 25 Year old Vocalist, Multi-instrumentalist and Educator from the San Francisco Bay Area. I am originally from the Philippines and moved to the United States at the age of 12. I’ve lived in California ever since!

I received my education and my Bachelors of Art in Music from California State University, East Bay and Las Positas College. I studied classical, contemporary and jazz singing underneath the tutelage of Christine Abraham (Classical), Ash Walker (Classical & Contemporary), and Ian Brekke (Jazz).

From the age of 8, I’ve been performing a myriad of different genres with groups all over California, ranging from Pop, Rock, R&B to Jazz and Classical.

I currently perform as a solo act as Jae Perez, while also singing and playing bass with Zen & Sarafin,
